Volunteering holds great importance in improving the functionality and overall well-being of CLC. There are many different roles you could play in volunteering at our center. One of those would be helping in the Free Group Tutoring program. This incredible program allows elementary-aged kids to get extra help in math and reading. Other volunteer roles include distributing promo, helping with estates work, cleaning around the center, and participating in fundraisers and events. Even small acts of service can have a meaningful impact on people who need support.
For high schoolers looking to obtain a Bright Futures Scholarship, 100 hours of volunteer service, paid work, or a combination of both are required to qualify. If you’re interested in volunteering, please call us at 727-441-4444.
