About the annual evaluation
Florida home-education families complete an evaluation of their child’s progress each year and file it with their county school district’s home education office. For local families, that’s Pinellas County Schools. Florida law allows a few ways to do the evaluation, such as a portfolio review or a standardized test. Check with the district’s home education office for current requirements and deadlines.
